WAITING MARTA
Full Residential Renovation with planning compliance and volumetric modifications
Location: Rapolla, Italy
Year: 2023
Size: 127 sqm
Project Type: Full Interior and Technical Renovation
Tools used: AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Corona Renderer, Photoshop

Project Overview
Waiting Marta is a full-scale residential renovation located on the second floor of a three-storey building in Rapolla, southern Italy. The 127 sqm apartment was completely redesigned to meet the lifestyle of a young couple expecting their first child.
The project involved significant structural and technical upgrades:
- Full replacement of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (MEP)
- Demolition and reconstruction of non-load-bearing partitions
- Closure of a balcony with permitted volume increase
- Creation of a new window opening overlooking the shared courtyard
All rooms were upgraded with new flooring, false ceilings, LED lighting integration, and custom paintwork. The kitchen and living area were merged into a single open-plan space, centred around a functional kitchen island and built-in wall units. Bathrooms were entirely reconfigured with new finishes and sanitary ware.
Client Objectives
The clients wanted a modern and practical home, tailored to a new phase of life. Their vision focused on clean lines, open spaces, and functional lighting — with the emotional urgency of completing everything before the arrival of their daughter, Marta.
