A residential interior design project developed for a family seeking light, warmth and continuity between living spaces, located above their café in the historic center of Castellaneta.
The intervention focused on a complete reconfiguration of the internal layout, transforming the apartment into a contemporary open-plan environment where kitchen, dining and living areas merge into a single fluid space.
Strategic demolitions introduced spatial continuity and improved functionality, while custom elements — including a central fireplace, walk-in wardrobes and a timber screen — guide light and movement throughout the home.
Natural light from multiple orientations enhances the perception of space, contributing to a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere shaped by balanced materials, proportions and carefully considered details.
