RESIDENTIAL PROJECT

HILLSIDE
HOME

A full interior renovation built on warmth, texture and quiet,
careful details, rather than passing trends.

Moncalieri, Italy

01 — THE PROJECT

A home
rebuilt around how it's actually lived in.

Hillside Home is a full interior renovation of an existing apartment in Moncalieri, Italy. We updated the finishes and reorganized the layout to fit the needs of a young couple starting a new chapter of their life.

No structural changes were made, but every detail was carefully planned.

02 — OPEN LIVING

Everyday life, opened up

The dining area and the living room flow into each other as one open space. Sheer curtains soften the light, and the terrace doors open onto a view of green plants outside.

03 — KITCHEN DETAILS

The kitchen combines walnut cabinets, veined marble surfaces and warm brass details. These materials add texture without being too showy, because this kitchen was designed for everyday life, not just for looks.

MATERIALS & ATMOSPHERE

A tactile,
layered palette.

The same materials repeat throughout the apartment: dark walnut wood, fluted oak panels and veined marble. They are paired with the scalloped art-deco pattern that also appears on the dining room wall, so the whole home feels connected.

Soft boucle and linen fabrics balance these stronger materials, while brushed brass details connect everything together. Every material was chosen to feel warm up close, and to look well thought out from across the room.

04 — EVERYDAY CORNERS

Small moments,
considered.

Next to the staircase, a small reading nook offers a quiet place to sit. In the living room, a relaxed seating area gives the home another calm space to slow down, away from the main rooms.

05 — A STATEMENT WALL

Pattern as personality

A scalloped art-deco wallpaper stands behind the dining table as the room's main feature. Its bold pattern is balanced by two sculptural pendant lights in soft brass, hanging just above the table.

06 — AFTER DARK

How the home changes after sunset.

This last section shows the same dining room again, but at night. Once daylight fades, the pendant lights glow warmly against the wallpaper, giving the space a completely different mood.
